Having worked at board and executive level across the UK and Irish financial industry, acquired and grown wealth management businesses and advised many ultra-wealthy families and individuals through his career, Stephen co-founded Argeau in 2020 and leads the strategic and Client facing elements of the firm.
Oliver’s background is in the wealth and asset management industries in Ireland. He has experience managing private client portfolios for a leading Irish wealth manager in addition to running a range of Equity portfolios for a leading European Asset Manager. Oliver is responsible for Argeau’s engagement with leading investment and service providers across Ireland and the UK.
Barry was a global partner of Maples & Calder and head of its Irish funds practice until 2017. He is a regular speaker internationally on various aspects of fund and regulatory law and holds a number of non-executive directorships in addition to his role as Chairman of Argeau. Barry is an active investor with interests in the property, leisure and technology sectors.
Mikey is a Wealth Manager at Argeau, his role involves working with the directors in serving and advising our valued clients. Mikey is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and also holds a bachelors degree in Business Studies from Dublin City University (DCU).
Paul has over 20 years' experience in financial services. Prior to joining Argeau, Paul was Head of Transformation for Commercial Banking in Ulster Bank where he had responsibility for the operational and change functions within the business. As Head of Operations, Paul is responsible for overseeing the day to day administrative and operational functions at Argeau.
Diane is responsible for the support, compliance and technical functions at Argeau. Diane is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and prior to Argeau managed the support function at an Irish wealth management firm.
Caoimhe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Limerick. As part of the Investment Team, Caoimhe focuses on client reporting, investment analysis and conducting in-depth market research.
As Interim CMO, Nicky brings over 35 years of expertise in Brand, Communications, Culture, and Marketing Strategy. He is a Fellow of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and has led strategic brand transformations at organisations like Davy and Bord Gáis Energy. Nicky's personal values with regard to being client first, transparent and building sustainable businesses, make him a good fit in Argeau.
Paula has 25 years industry experience in financial services, including roles as Head of Compliance in Davy, Pershing Securities International Limited, ABN Amro Stockbrokers (Ireland) Limited, HSBC Securities Services as well as being a Director in KPMG’s Regulatory Advisory practice. Paula holds a law degree from Trinity College Dublin, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (FCA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (FSCI).
Starting his career in banking with Goldman Sachs in London, Adam subsequently trained with PWC as a chartered accountant and tax advisor. He spent 12 years with a leading Irish wealth manager heading that firm’s investment, wealth planning and technology functions, before co-founding Argeau.
With a background in international sports marketing and venture capital, Nick grew the US arm of International Sports Management (ISM) from 2013 to 2018 having previously run the golf talent division of a leading US athlete representative firm. Nick joined Argeau as a director and co-founder in January 2021, helping grow our community of wealthy Clients in the US and Europe.
